NRPDTP Student Matthew Madgwick helps find hidden genetic connections that could personalise IBD treatment

Matthew Madgwick, an NRPDTP student based at the Earlham Institute, has been involved in research recently published in Nature Communications. Matthew developed, implemented and automated the integrative SNP Network Platform (iSNP) workflow. This is a novel precision medicine workflow, designed to determine the mechanisms by which SNPs affect cellular regulatory networks, and how SNP co-occurrences contribute to disease pathogenesis.
