Success for NRPDTP Supervisors at the 2022 Innovation and Impact Awards

Two NRPDTP supervisors, Prof Robert Kingsley and Prof Alison Mather, both based at Quadram Institute Bioscience, recently won the Outstanding Impact in Policy and Practice award at UEA’s Innovation & Impact Awards, held on 10 May. In conjunction with Prof Justin O’Grady, the award was given to their work entitled “Sequencing Covid-19 genomes to inform public health policy”.

The awards bring together UEA staff, students and graduates, as well as external collaborators and partners and celebrate the remarkable research that is changing lives and helping to shape our understanding of the world. For a full news story on the awards, go to the UEA’s website.
