RSC Award for NRPDTP Director

The Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) has recognised our DTP Director, Prof Dave Evans, with an Award for Exceptional Service for outstanding and valuable service that has made a personal impact. He is cited “for outstanding service to the RSC through the activities of our inorganic and biochemical member-led communities”. Dave has been involved with the RSC for many years. Amongst other roles he was an elected member of Dalton Division Council (2017-10), member of the Mössbauer Spectroscopy Group Committee for 18 years, eight years as treasurer, and member of the Inorganic Biochemistry Discussion Group Committee for which he continues to be treasurer after 15 years’ service. Dave “is delighted to be a recipient of this award and is looking forward to continuing his involvement for many years to come”.
