NRPDTP students help shed new light on how SARS-CoV-2 infects the gut

Several NRPDTP students, past and present, from the Earlham Institute (EI) have had their research published in Nature Partner Journal Systems Biology and Applications.  The students include Martina Poletti, Agatha Treveil, Leila Gul, Matthew Madgwick and Marton Olbei, along with Group Leader at EI and the Quadram Institue Tamas Korcsmaros.

The research sheds new light on how SARS-CoV-2 infects the gut, which has been overlooked due to the focus on the lungs.  For further details visit the Quadram Institue webpages. The full article can be found here: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41540-022-00224-x
