NRPDTP alumnus Bruno Ngou awarded Irene Manton Prize 2022

Bruno Ngou, an NRPDTP alumnus from The Sainsbury Laboratory has been awarded the Irene Manton prize 2022. This prize is awarded for the best thesis in botany examined for a doctorate of philosophy. This prestigious aware also comes with a prize is £1,000 and a piece of fine art.

Bruno’s thesis examined how plants and their diverse pathogens interact in an evolutionary arms race to avoid and cause disease.
