Natalia Zielonka publishes blog on the Wines of Great Britain website
Natalia Zielonka, a DTP student based at the University of East Anglia, has published a blog post about her recent fieldwork trip on the Wines of Great Britain website.
Natalia’s research is focussing on looking at how landscape and management practices affect the biodiversity and ecosystem functions, such as biological pest control and crop damage, across UK vineyards. The aim of this research is to inform sustainable management across the expanding UK wine industry, that supports high crop quality and yield, whilst conserving biodiversity and natural habitats. Natalia spent two weeks discovering her new field sites; 18 British vineyards across the UK.
Natalia’s blog charts her encounters will birds, mammals and insects and is a fascinating read. You can read the full blog post here.
