Isabel Diez Santos wins the NRPDTP Third Year Poster Competition

Each year the NRPDTP hosts a cross-cohort event bringing all NRPDTP students together in the form of the Summer Conference. Sadly, due to the current and ongoing impact of the COVID-19/Coronavirus pandemic, the 2020 Summer Conference had to be cancelled. However, the Third Year Poster Competition was moved to an online event to enable this to take place.

The poster competition provides the opportunity for the third year cohort to showcase their research and all third year students are expected to submit a poster. The winning poster is voted for by all NRPDTP students.

Moving the poster competition to an online event presented students with additional challenges of summarizing their research in just three powerpoint slides, which were then viewed as a video. The students did a fantastic job and the posters represented the breadth of great research that is being done within our programme across the NRP.

This year’s winner was Isabel Diez Santos, who produced a very creative poster.  Second prize went to Shannon Woodhouse and third prize was won by Tom Brown.
