Dave Evans starts as new Director of DTP

On 1st May 2017 Professor Dave Evans started as Director of the NRP Biosciences DTP and Chair of the NBI Graduate School.

For 26 years Dave was a project leader with the AFRC/BBSRC, initially at the Nitrogen Fixation Laboratory in Sussex and then at JIC. His research interests span from bioinorganic chemistry to bionanoscience. In 2012 he was appointed Professor of Biological Chemistry at the University of Hull and soon after became Head of the Department of Chemistry and, most recently, Head of the School of Mathematics and Physical Sciences. He is a Fellow of both the Royal Society of Chemistry and the Higher Education Academy.
