Tom Eyles publishes new paper

Tom Eyles has had success as first author on a recently published paper in ACS Synthetic Biology.

Tom and his colleagues present a one-step yeast-based method that enables efficient, cheap, and flexible modifications to biosynthetic gene clusters (BGCs). Using the BGC for the antibiotic bottromycin, the paper showcases multiple modifications including refactoring, gene deletions and targeted mutations. To read the full article, click here
